I now wear the shoes every other day, alternating them with another pair of BÄR shoes. As a saleswoman, I’m on my feet for at least 6 hours, plus a 2.5 km commute each way. Despite my osteoarthritis in the big toe, I have absolutely no problems with these shoes. Highly recommended. The wild leather is easy to clean, and the laces make it easy to adjust the width. The sole is also slip-resistant on wet surfaces and snow.
Of my BÄR shoes, the black High Performance was the first pair I bought. To this day, it is my favorite shoe. Despite my problem feet, walking in them feels like walking on clouds. Long walks or long, exhausting days are no longer a problem. It provides support while still being incredibly comfortable. For me, there is no better shoe.

Now, at 63, I’ve finally found the ultimate hiking shoes. Everything about them is just right. I take the dogs out in them two or three times a day. No matter what the weather is like—heavy rain or, as now, lots of snow—the shoes are always completely sealed and waterproof. The combination of Gore-Tex and a Vibram sole is also perfect. I have a very high instep, and these shoes fit wonderfully there too.
I’ve only had the shoe for a short time, but I can already say: just slip it on and feel completely comfortable :-) ... I haven’t experienced that in a long time. It’s really pleasantly lightweight to wear and fits perfectly. Thank you very much for the great shoe.
A shoe that is very lightweight and comfortable from the moment you put it on. The shoe provides good ankle support. I chose the blue shoes. I like that it isn’t just a plain color, but has a pattern in both light and dark shades. The sole is very good. It also works very well with insoles. I can highly recommend this shoe, and it’s also suitable for women. I’ve been wearing BÄR shoes for years.
I received my new BÄRschuh Ladyrun today and am absolutely thrilled—the fit is incredibly comfortable. Absolutely perfect for my slightly wide feet; just slip them on and feel at ease. I’ll be donating my other shoes because BÄRschuh is the right choice for me. I won’t buy any other shoes anymore, only BÄR!!!!!
As expected, it gives me a wonderful feel when walking. Because of my foot problems, I use this pleasantly lightweight sports shoe as a hiking shoe. It feels airy and hopefully isn’t as warm as my other sports shoes. Very nice appearance and color too. I’m very satisfied.

"I was particularly impressed by the wide toe box. It felt unusual at first, but I wouldn’t want to give up this sense of freedom anymore. Despite the flexible sole, there was always sufficient cushioning and stiffness. I also found the boot to be superbly crafted, with many interesting features such as the deep-lacing hook. My conclusion: Anyone looking for an all-leather hiking boot and who occasionally wants to venture into alpine terrain will be very well served by the BÄR boot."
