Stay Fit at Home – What Can We Do for Our Feet?

It starts early in the morning, as soon as you wake up: When stretching and reaching in bed, we must not forget our feet. They should be pushed toward the foot of the bed, against imaginary resistance or, if
available, against the footboard. Please do not forget to spread your toes to prepare them well for the demands of the day.

Then pull your feet upward so that you can clearly feel a stretch in your calves. After at least 10 repetitions, circle your feet several times clockwise, several times counterclockwise, and then repeat everything once more in the opposite direction. This is yoga for your feet in bed! Before getting up, take a short bicycle ride in bed, pedaling forward about 10 times and then backward.

After getting out of bed, stretch your entire body first, stand on the balls of your feet and toes, stretch upward as tall as you can, and extend your arm and leg muscles. Raise your heels and walk
a few steps on the balls of your feet.

Massaging the soles of your feet is very beneficial for waking up and activating your muscles. Using a tennis ball, a wooden ball, or "meinbruno," roll the sole of your foot firmly over it to stretch and activate the plantar fascia running along the sole. This activates areas of the sole that are also targeted in acupuncture and foot reflexology. You will find that you feel refreshed and more energetic than before the exercises.

Even when walking barefoot to the bathroom, you can walk part of the way on the outer edge of your foot and then on the inner edge. A few steps on the balls of your feet, alternating with steps on your heels, not only promote and strengthen the foot muscles but also train the sensory system responsible for balance and keeping your body steady. If you stretch and reach as you do this, you will already be wide awake before you reach the bathroom.

Who thinks about training their feet while brushing their teeth? Only those who regularly visit the Bär website! Stand alternately on your left leg and then on your right. If you stand on one leg 5 times for 20 seconds each while brushing your teeth, you can even be sure that your teeth have been cleaned properly! Your dentist will confirm it.

When putting on socks, the toes are often pressed and squeezed together because the socks are either too short or knitted round in the toe area. A small trick can already help: After putting on your socks, pull the sock slightly forward over the toes, spread your toes, and move them inside the sock. Your toes will appreciate this newfound freedom. Our recommendations for you: toe socks, Correct toes , meinBruno
