Since 1995, BÄR shoes have been produced in our own manufacturing facility, where we ensure that work is carried out under socially responsible and ethically sound conditions. At our Indian production facility, Baer Shoes India Pvt Ltd in Ambur, highly qualified and well-trained employees who are passionate about their work create handcrafted masterpieces. With more than 400 employees, we provide secure jobs, social and health insurance, and above-average wages.
We take responsibility for everyone who works for BÄR and actively oppose child labor, forced labor, and discrimination. Our subsidiary in India has been certified according to the ISO core labor standards since 2011 and is subject to regular external audits covering social responsibility, safety, quality, and environmental management.
